SES Partner: The Contour Collective

We are incredibly excited to announce that The Contour Collective will be joining us at all of the SES rounds to work as an extension of our production team. They'll be racing the events, providing POV footage, interviews and more across each race weekend!

Meet the Contour Collective

The Contour Collective is a UK based mountain bike team and content channel founded by Chris Hutchens and Christo Gallagher. Their core purpose is to create inspiring and educational media that appeals not just to mountain bike enthusiasts, but to the general public. They want to show the world how fun, friendly and accessible mountain biking can be, creating content that gets people outside and unlocks their riding potential. You’ll see Chris, Christo and Morgan Gulland out on the trails and at races in the UK and abroad.

Chris Hutchens

Chris has been racing in Scotland since 2000, firstly downhill before shifting to Enduro. He has been racing the SES from the beginning having taken the overall series title twice. He helped to prepare the trails at Pitfichie before the series first visited the venue in 2017 and supported the series in various ways over the years. While also a huge fan of bikes he’ll be the first to help riders out so if you need some riding advice, give him a shout.

Christo Gallagher

Christo is now one of the UK’s top Enduro riders and has worked up the ranks after he made the switch to enduro having overcome various injuries in downhill. His time riding in the Scottish Borders has seen him win a few races in this part of the world and his cornering ability will have you questioning the laws of physics.

Morgan Gulland

Morgan has been on the riding scene for many years again racing downhill and dabbling in some enduros more recently after some time away from the sport. He’s certainly come back strong with an EWS-100 podium. With the nickname Morgy bear he’s the teams relaxed podcast-hosting rider, with a fast and fluid style on the bike.

Why SES?

For Chris and Christo the Scottish Enduro Series was a training ground and continues to be one for tackling some of the toughest Enduro races around the globe. Established almost a decade ago the SES has catapulted numerous Scottish riders to the dizzy heights of the Enduro World Series (EWS) and continually tempts riders from across the UK and from around the world to tackle some of the best riding out there.

Between Christo and Chris they’ve got three Scottish Series titles between them and know a thing or two about the venues and history of the series. The Contour team will be heading to the first round at Nevis Range next weekend. Catch their latest podcast which is all about riding at Fort William and the upcoming SES Nevis Range race.
