SES Tweed Valley - Postponement

The Scottish Enduro Series (SES) has been working hard to give the Tweed Valley event scheduled for July 23-24 the green light, but circumstances beyond our control mean we have to postpone it.

But the good news is there is still a big weekend of riding on the cards in the Tweed Valley!

Two years of covid delays mean that work is only just getting started on the Glentress Masterplan, which means our planned course is out of action. The British Cycling National XC Championship, who we were working in tandem with on the event, have moved their race to Kirroughtree.

We really wanted to stay in the Valley, but we also want to make sure the Innerleithen trails are back up to scratch after the EWS before we put another race down them.

So with all that in mind, we’ve decided to delay the race until October 22-23rd so we can have a huge end of season finale race. But that doesn’t mean we can’t get together and have an amazing weekend of riding bikes in July.

So on the original race date, we’re planning an informal get-together with ride outs, kids activities, good food and local beer. Expect a relaxed weekend of riding off the clock, a chance to catch up with riding buddies and make some new ones and there may even still be a prize or two up for grabs.

Your race entry will automatically be transferred to the new date in October and if you’ve got any questions just drop a line to hello@scottishenduroseries.co.uk
